Old Town Bicycle was a chain of three Puget Sound area bicycle shops that was one of the largest dealers for Cannondale and Specialized bicycles. The retailer teamed up with several cyclocross and mountain bike racers to form a non-profit bicycle racing team. The Old Town Bicycle Cyclocross Team became one of the largest (if not the largest) teams in the Pacific Northwest.

Shop and Team Manager, Tory Grant, developed the uniform styles and worked with me as the freelance designer to render the team uniforms, and design sponsorship materials. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create kits from 2009 to 2019. Additionally, I prepared sponsor artwork for printing on the uniforms, and occasionally had to faithfully recreate company logos that were not camera ready for the garment printer, Voler Apparel.

I designed the uniforms for each two-year sponsorship agreement. These team jerseys included headline sponsors who “presented” the Old Town Team, and included State Farm, Green Earth Construction, and Ritzman Construction. Several of the jersey designs were sold by Old Town Bicycle for their club kits, and as corporate branding.
